Whistleblower Policy

At RUPSA (Rural & Urban Problem Solve Association), we are committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all our operations. We recognize that our stakeholders, employees, volunteers, beneficiaries, donors, and partners—must feel safe to report any concerns or unethical behavior without fear of retaliation.

Purpose of This Policy
This Whistleblower Policy is designed to encourage and enable individuals to raise concerns regarding any suspected wrongdoing within the organization, including:
– Fraud, corruption, or misuse of funds. 
– Harassment, abuse, or exploitation.
– Discrimination or violation of human rights.
– Violations of legal or regulatory obligations.
– Health and safety risks.
– Other unethical or unlawful activities 

Scope
This policy applies to all individuals associated with RUPSA, including staff, volunteers, interns, trustees, contractors, and partners, both in Bangladesh and internationally.

Reporting a Concern
If you suspect any wrongdoing, you are encouraged to report the matter as soon as possible through one of the following methods:

All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and discretion.

Protection Against Retaliation
RUPSA prohibits any form of retaliation or adverse action against whistleblowers. Individuals who report concerns in good faith will be protected, even if the concern later proves to be unfounded.

Investigation Process Upon receiving a report, an internal review committee will assess the concern. Where appropriate, an independent investigation will be conducted. Outcomes may include corrective action, legal steps, or organizational changes.

Anonymity
While anonymous reports are accepted, providing contact details can help us conduct a more thorough investigation. Your identity will always be kept confidential unless legally required to disclose.

Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
